The 7 September 2020 flash flood that caused a lot of damage in Ah Dee and Pa Na Sawan was caused by torrential rain ( approx 15cm or 6") in a short space of time. The image shows how many streams there are that produce the huge volumes of water, and eventually end up in the Mae Kok River.
